Did you ever wonder how the samba schools parade in Rio work in practice? Come hear the experience of parading with bateria from the perspective of a first-timer!

We will cover the preparations & rehearsals, the sambadrome, the different leagues, who funds the carnival and some of the politics and the drama! Luciana will share her experience with photos and will answer any questions you may have.

The event will be in English and snacks will be provided. You can also bring some.
